چکیده

Bakteri Staphylococus aureus merupakan bakteri patogen dan dapat menyebabkan infeksi mulai dari kulit ringan sampai dengan sistemik. Sebagian besar pada awal mulanya peka terhadap penisilin, namun setelah meluasnya penggunaan penisilin ditemukan 65% 85% menghasilkan beta laktamase sehingga menjadi resisten G. Hal tersebut diatas mendorong pengobatan alternatif yang aman tidak menimbulkan resistensi untuk menanggulangi aureus. Perasan buah pepaya sering terdengar dimasyarakat jerawat secara turun temurun, ini dimungkinkan perasan mempunyai efek anti Staphylococcus Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui kemampuan daya hambat air papaya (Carica Papaya L) Metode pengujian menggunakan metode difusi agar konsentrasi 20%, 40%, 60% 80%. Air penelitian sedang pertumbuhan aureus, serta paling efektif sebesar 60%.
